And BCN is operated with outsourced crew? To train them with both plane types would be an extra cost and wouldn't really make any sense.

Color codes in CC tablet, black for plat(and lumo?), yellow for gold, blue for? and white for statusless pax?

Yes. Actually twice.
First time, they didn't notice.
Second time, they noticed and removed it after one week. However, it was at the time when several people had flight posting problems (end of Aug/beginning Sep)

I have understood that the star would be the symbol for a passenger with a preorder but I might be wrong here.

I just saw our seat colors. Mine was black as plat, silver was blue as well as statusless. White ws empty seat blocked next to me
