Welcome to Finnair+ Junior
Got my kids junior card today. (may 2019)
Welcome to Finnair Plus Junior.
Junior account features:
-50% points reduction on Classic award tickets. (Return tickets)
- Junior memebership doesnt include any tiers. Or tracking periods.
Well, this seems a little bit outdated. If I remember right the -50% for Junior awards was scrapped >1 year ago.

Ouch, pretty poor.
Last year when they made the changes, the member page wasn't updated and junior was not listed as junior gold but as gold, which meant that points started to expire. It turned out to be a cosmetic error and it only took a few months to fix it. Not very good, but as it was a cosmetic problem it was liveable.
But to introduce junior tiers and not to update the cover letters et.c. for over a year is PPP.

Indeed, it's not consistent. I haven't flown AY a lot this year but 3 / 3 flights (2 lh J, 1 sh Y) I got greeted. Last year it was a rare event. Of all things I did get a pep talk on KL last week, which happens maybe 10-20% of the time.

I have had few OWE talks but every time there has been an indication of knowing that they know. It could have been welcome again, or how are you today. Or on a norra flight a very warm question of my drink choices. If I had not preordered a special meal, I have always been given the first choice of my preference. During the few times flying in Y class (mostly on ATRs) I have been given my choice of free drink. Once they had not noticed my status on ATRs (OWEs are marked differently compared with AY platinum) but once I noticed they apologized profusely. Have I been more in a more talkative mood the cabin crew have repandes accordingly. On a recent two-leg Norra flight the purser said that on that leg there was actually no service but I could get anything from the bar. For me I think the status has been acknowledged more than enough even though a proper and formal OWE talk is not always carried out. A genuine friendly service has Always been delivered and that is all that matters for me.

This morning I had to take a very full ATR flight from KUO to HEL. Priority boarding is often well enforced in KUO, so I was among the first ones to enter to plane and proceed to seat 3C. The apparently very green one stripe FA started the conversation by demanding me to stove my roller case under the seat in front of me "as there will not be enough space for luggage of other passengers otherwise". I said no way and lifted my case to the empty overhead bin. After that I was demanded to put my thin computer case under the seat in front of me, which I hesitantly agreed to do. I asked for whom the overhead bins are reserved for if not those boarding first - priority - and/or those holding platinum card. No answer but a rolleye... Perhaps something has gone wrong in the crew training of NoRRA?

Try to pay a booking on the phone using two vouchers (booking was done for two Plats and both have one voucher), the hotline replies - "we dont accept vouchers - not even one - you have to pay cash, or by credit card" I ask how I can pay cash. they told me by credit card.
The two vouchers are less then 10% of the ticket price. So only used one voucher - online.
