How to calculate points?
I need to book a retun flight to BKK for the next few weeks, it looks that I can t get any decent offer on AY. So I try to find out how much points I will get when flying Qatat or Royal Jordanian in dicounted business class given the fact that I m still Plt with AY. The calculator on the AY website shows 0 - is that correct?

RJ discounted business really sucks - I class, which is revenue, earns 0 AY+ (AFAIK also 0 Avios/TP) as do their cheapish eco fares.
QR - IJCD are 125%, I don't know if they have some other revenue business bucket
All thing being equal, I'd take QR over RJ. And AY over either - MUCH shorter from HEL to BKK and at least 200% earning

I believe all QR J fares earn 125% on AY+.
If they are credited to QR's program (PC) then there is a big difference, discounted fares earns less and full fares earns more.
Well it is high season for the leisure route BKK right now.

Thank you for the fast answer. I do really prefer AY, but at rates for way over 2500 it s not the best option when I can fly with Qatar ot RJ for about 1800 (with more fleXibiltiy) - I mean I saw AY tickets to BKK for above 4000 in the next couple of weeks. It really sucks - I never had such a hard time to get tickets on a short notice to BKK.
