Yeah! I am so glad QR got their priorities straight!
(there is a big thread on QR forum about this - not that it helps)

Our family of 3 are off to KBV in winter. 3 persons total less than 3.3k€. Although no new plane smell (320/330) R class should be bearable ^ 330s will all be equipped w fresh business class seats.
Have flown only once in QR economy - really looking fwd for their soft product.

My issue have been that HEL wasn't listed as preferred departure but now it was and subscribing worked fine. I use one unique email-address for each QR newsletter, don't know if that has anything to do with things, but after clicking "subscribe" you get to a profile page, so they are setting up some sort of account for each email entered.

The launch flight can be had for 207€ if you book it as HEL-DOH, with DOH-DXB or DOH-AUH the next day, or 347€ as multi-city round-trip. In kettle class, of course. It's a little bit more pricey in FlyerTalk princesses classC

I have few bookings for Qatar Helsinki flights and it seems like all of them are almost fully booked in J. Most likely because of the cheap fares from HEL. Funny enough they still keep selling cheap tickets and even have award seats open for these flights.

It would be a clever move on QR's behalf to use A359 on the route. AY has spent quite some marketing dimes on telling the public new metal is the way to go. QR could get a free ride on that. And QR probably has had a better QA so less duct tape in the cabins...
