This Wikipost is community-maintained and For Information Only. Note that not all information may be up to date and should be used at your own risk.

Safe - Immediate turnaround is easy, i.e. according to experience it is possible to reach departure gate quickly and without extra security check when doing same plane turnaround.
Intermediate - Immediate turnaround is doable, but requires e.g. extra security check.
Risky - Immediate turnaround not recommended. (See notes.)

TO KEEP THE WIKI AS COHERENT AS POSSIBLE, PLEASE USE "SAFE", "INTERMEDIATE" OR "RISKY" APPROPRIATELY! (I.e. no "Safe" for stations that require any kind of security or transfer check, not to mention going landside, etc.)

Immediate turnaround information for European AY destinations:

ACE: ?
AGP: Safe (Arrivals pour directly to departure gate.) Details here from August 2022

KTT: ?
KUO: Intermediate (Exit via baggage claim and reclear security, but should be doable if you exit among the first from the inbound flight.)
LHR: Intermediate (Need to go via Flight Connections to reclear security, which may take time depending on the time of the day.)

VRN: ?
WAW: Safe (Arrivals pour to departure gate.)
ZRH: Safe (When exiting the bridge, you are under the gates and there are inclined speedwalks that bring back to the gates upstairs.)

Immediate turnaround information for selected longhaul AY destinations:

DEL: Intermediate (There's plenty of time for the obligatory visit to the transit desk and security. However, you'll need a self-printed visa confirmation to show the gate agent at HEL.)
DOH: ?
DXB: Intermediate (Follow "connections" to security downstairs and after that go to transfer desk if needed.)
JFK: Intermediate (Generous time with the new schedule, but you'll need to clear US immigration so ESTA or visa is needed.)
NRT: Intermediate (OLCI and mobile BP works, no need to go landside. There's transfer security, though.)

Strange, as my WAW memories are clear about it, you're dumped to the gate, where the departing pax are probably already waiting for boarding and you're free to roam airside, with no security or anything. Check out the scheme https://www.airportpedia.net/media/W...3733bc589f.jpg - arrival level refers to the baggage carousels and exit, you need to go downstairs after arrival.

Well, my visit may have been an anomaly. N.b. I was dumped into gate area where pax were waiting to board I and could have stayed there easily. But to exit for lounge was only possible through a glass walled passage to the left. At some point I was able to break free and turn right and head for lounge.

But it was 3,5 years ago so serendipity and/or memory-lapse are possible explanations.

I don't have enough posts to edit the Wiki directly.
ZRH is safe. When exiting the bridge, you are under the gates and there are inclined speedwalks that bring back to the gates upstairs.

I have a short availability for a MR from june 7th afternoon till june 10th evening. Thinking about getting around 40k Points with any routing.
Starting in FRA/NUE, but feeder on *A is possible to eg ARN.
Checked the offers from ARN-HEL-BKK-HEL-ARN, 1500€ and 36k Points (exkl. bonus).

Does anyone have a also crazy proposal like intuition's gold run years ago?
Or any suggestions for the US?

I was also thinking about zig zagging cross europe with different value tickets (on AY).
The flights to US deliver ow 12k Points, not bad in Y.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated

Caro

I think there are some superexpensive Y fares that book into Y and earn 150 %.

compared to Y fares that are around 1500e. And generally for 150% earnings, about 25points per euro. Not too bad, but not best possible.

I'm still waiting on the defition of "cheap Y flights" to US that earn 12k even with feeder.

IMO those were long gone since AA dropped the earnings.
