Safe - Immediate turnaround is easy, i.e. according to experience it is possible to reach departure gate quickly and without extra security check when doing same plane turnaround.
Intermediate - Immediate turnaround is doable, but requires e.g. extra security check.
Risky - Immediate turnaround not recommended. (See notes.)

TO KEEP THE WIKI AS COHERENT AS POSSIBLE, PLEASE USE "SAFE", "INTERMEDIATE" OR "RISKY" APPROPRIATELY! (I.e. no "Safe" for stations that require any kind of security or transfer check, not to mention going landside, etc.)

Immediate turnaround information for European AY destinations:

ACE: ?
AGP: Safe (Arrivals pour directly to departure gate.) Details here from August 2022

KTT: ?
KUO: Intermediate (Exit via baggage claim and reclear security, but should be doable if you exit among the first from the inbound flight.)
LHR: Intermediate (Need to go via Flight Connections to reclear security, which may take time depending on the time of the day.)

OSL: Safe / Intermediate (D gates pours directly to departures. E gates also pours to departure gate, follow transit arrow, automatic gate door will open during "normal" hours. VBY: ?
VCE: ?
VIE: Safe (Arrivals pour directly to departure gate.)
VNO: Risky. (Departing pax board bus when arriving pax still deplaning. Connection corridor available but not sure how straightforward it is).
VRN: ?
WAW: Safe (Arrivals pour to departure gate.)
ZRH: Safe (When exiting the bridge, you are under the gates and there are inclined speedwalks that bring back to the gates upstairs.)

Immediate turnaround information for selected longhaul AY destinations:

DEL: Intermediate (There's plenty of time for the obligatory visit to the transit desk and security. However, you'll need a self-printed visa confirmation to show the gate agent at HEL.)
DOH: ?
DXB: Intermediate (Follow "connections" to security downstairs and after that go to transfer desk if needed.)
JFK: Intermediate (Generous time with the new schedule, but you'll need to clear US immigration so ESTA or visa is needed.)
NRT: Intermediate (OLCI and mobile BP works, no need to go landside. There's transfer security, though.)

WAW: arrive same area, no security. The lounge is close by the gate, and one of the nicer Business class lounges.

Excellent for AA earnings (100%). Buzzing. Now if I only knew how to select TAM seat in advance.
Do you know are the "Comfort seats" on TAM 77W complimentary for OWS? What about immigration in Brazil, is it easy for EU-citizen? I am now seeing HEL-LHR-GRU-GIG with same day return for 570€, though bookable only on BravoFly.fi (no previous experience).

My only experience with Brazilian immigration was somewhat easier than average US immigration.

I thought a "Brazilian immigration" would be down to the skin...

I booked my flights also through BravoFly, got Amadeus PNR and was able to add my FF# through Finnair website.

I tried to search about the comfort seats and got some mixed messages. Apparently I can't even assign a seat until T-72... but I'll report how it went after my trip.

lentodiilit.fi seems to be quoting that BA has 100€:ish same-day tickets on sale HEL-LHR. Sat or Sunday morning, back in the evening. Sounds tempting a segment-running opportunity...every weekend to London until Xmas...why not...sat night home since hotel prices in London are horrendous, then back on sunday again

I'm doing this this week, these were on sale last year as well. If you're doing this as a mileage run, doing it for the segment is really your only feasible choice but OSL/ARN/VAA/OUL would probably be cheaper and earn more award points (1000, 2000 with Accor promo).

These BA flights book into G and a return earns 914 Finnair Plus points. With the ongoing Accor promo, really not worth it for the points.

Although some like me might even see it as a weekend holiday trip.

Well, didn't have any intention of taking any far east journeys yet, but for some reason my keyboard decided to type such a sequence of characters that now I have flights booked to Tokyo on CX in just a couple of weeks, ~500€, outbound M, inbound L, ~28000 AY+ points. Not bad. But I know already now that the flights will be torture, don't even remember when flown LH in Y Unfortunately outbound via LHR was quite expensive on my date of travel, as otherwise HEL-LHR would have been A350. Now just have to wait till January and our winter vacation to experience that bird...

CX doesn't seem to offer online seat selection. Is there any way to get extra legroom seats booked, except by calling their CS? Or to book decent seats online in the first place?

Great, that's the spirit! Flying in Y is a breeze with CX and an aisle seat.

CX does offer online seat selection indeed. Extra legroom seats cost more, not sure about oneworld elites, though. MMB should do the trick.

I've managed to snag cx (J) seats on qr.com, not CX.

500 to TYO sounds interesting. Any more details?

There or some dates with afternoon return, so the whole trip can be completed between 0740-1610. 100% AAdvantage earning (2302EQM).

I'm finding something around that all the time. Before I have had to skip because of not earning anything for AA, but now that I'm not going to requalify platinum and they have closed the challenge I might even take these next time. For example, I'm finding 14.-16.11. 485€.

Several alternatives around 500€ return, booking class L or M, for already next week, now also for example: http://www.momondo.fi/flightsearch/?...false&NA=false, or https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...-LHRHEL1AY3126 and then onwards to Cheapoair.com, and following weeks as well.

qr.com? It doesn't seem to open any page. I've tried qatar and finnair web pages, both unable to open seat map. And the same thing with CX own web page, no online seat selection available. Extra legroom seats should be free for OW Emerald, but this far found the only way to do it by calling their CS in HKG. Haven't found any way contact them online, except twitter, tried, with no reply. Any good advice how to get contact with them as to my experience calling to Far Eastern customer service in English is a pain?
