Delay problems of AY69 / AY99 HEL-HKG
Does anyone know what is causing the delays to AY69? Both LQB (yesterday) and LQC (today) have had 4 hr departure delays. At first I thought it may have been a tech issue with LQB, but LQA is now showing the same delay.
LQB on AY70 today is currently showing a 22 minute delay to take off. |
According to KVS, it was tech issue.

I dont know about Your sources but where is it said LQC will be delayed 4 hrs? LQA ?
And AY70 not showing any delay at HKG, Just taxiing to departure point runway 07R at time 0039 local. LQB got me to HEL 3 minutes early and now flightradar is showing that LQC is on a perfectly normal itinerary. So what happened there I have no idea... it could have been bad info on flightradar or too much Tsingtao. ;) Anyway I will be sending AY note to say how good AY70 just was... crew fantastic, seat very comfy, I slept for 7 hrs straight - what a joy. Hopefully that’s been sorted now, but there’s no update yet as to what the issue with the plane was. |
I friend of mine onboard had heard something about a landing gear issue.
|
Sixty-niner got cancelled then.
Any words from HEL how they re-routed ? |

Not 69 related but 82 was badly delayed last night, departed from here Singapore 9hrs late this morning.
I am on 82 tonight and it is now delayed to 04.10 in the morning. AY just called me and offered to re-route via Doha with Qatar (going to ARN) but obviously in Y so I rather keep the J upgrade via HEL...plus I have a friend on the same flight in coach. The reason for these 82 delays is crew member sickness, they told. Amyway, really good proactive service by AY, very much appreciated 👍 |
