When you reach 200.000 tier points within a tracking period. you will receive what we call a milestone gift. After this, you will receive a gift when you reach each 100.000 points level.
In May 2022:
200.000 receives 40.000 award points or certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
300.000 receives 60.000 award points or certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
400.000 receives 100.000 award points or certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
500.000 receives 100.000 award points or a choice of certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
600.000 receives 100.000 award points or a choice of certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
700.000 receives no award points but a choice of certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
800.000 receives no award points but a choice of certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
900.000 receives no award points but a choice of certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
1 Million wait for it! receives no award points but a choice of certain gift items (scarf, towel set etc)
So, safe to assume this goes on indefinitely.

You don't need to wait for the e-mail. Use the 300k e-mail, click on the link and replace the 300k out of the url with 400k and you can choose your gift right away.

When does your tracking period end, ie will you have the chance to accrue one million points? That would be something! And very possibly a record for AY, too.

Tracking period ends 31.1. Already crossed 1 million about a week ago and will be at least 1,15 in another week. I will post if I get anything special.

What's the MOST points one can get on ONE flight with AY+?
On own metal it's 20k - intercontinental C as Plat 225% earning.
On "foreign metal" I think F has 150% earning, It'd need a 13.000 km flight in F to trump the 20k. There can't be too many of those - some BA and QF routes to AUS (it's the same flight number even if it stops in SIN), LHR-SYD in F would be some 25k points.

Going OT for the thread, but you can earn 300% if you fly F on AY code (obviously not metal). I don’t know how to look for a list of such routes, but I quickly looked that you can book for instance HEL-LHR-SFO with the longhaul leg in F on AY code. Shouldn’t that be roughly 25k points? There are probably routes that are longer and therefore give more points.
EDIT: I guess plat bonus kicks in on these as well, so would that make the earnings 375% so 32k?

IME you are holding it wrong...
C ticket on AY code earns 250% (tier bonus applies on top of COS bonus, ie km x 2 x 1,25). On AY metal the zones are maximum 8k km long, so 20k is correct.
Niksal is holding it right; F ticket on AY code on OW carrier earns 375% (km x 3 x 1,25). Here no limit on zone length, ie great circle distance counts.

And if you are looking to optimize, you need to persuade AY to codeshare on QR921. It is a lovely flight but currently not offering F. Otherwise it would earn 54 500 points in F each way.
QF9 (PER-LON) would earn almost the same, but no F AFAIK.
QF8 I guess has F but good luck getting AY to codeshare DFW-SYD...
