Current and historical promotions

This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.

The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Do not delete historical posts.

Anyone already got the points credited on AY account?
For me it took 3 weeks on Pointshound, before the status changed: submitted to program.

AY is doing a drive for their co-branded Diners. Up to 3AY+ points per euro, 50% off first fee (no yearly fee for plats), free lounges for gold&plat.

https://www.finnair.com/fi/gb/finnair-plus-dinersclub

Oddly enough, the same campaign is running on the frontpage of finnair.se - but with the added text "It is no longer possible to sign up for Diners card".

Did something recently change? I've had the exact same perks since last autumn. Point accrual for lower tiers seem higher than I remember though..

Probably nothing changed, just a drive to get the user numbers up.

I know from experience that when you co-brand your loyalty-card, the issuer will from time to time chase you if you fail to meet their expectations. (I was met with the choices: either you get your customer base up or you cancel the co-branding entirely).

I suspect Diners are pushing AY in this way. It seems plausible that the Swedish card was axed because AY doesn't believe they can get numbers up, while they still have hope to push the Finnish version above the threshold.

I would hope for a "real" promotion as in more points or something like that. I have a SK DC but as I'll be reaching Platinum shortly, I will switch to AY.

No changes there whatsoever. Except for the fact that (since November, IIRC) they are no longer waiving the yearly fee for Golds. But this has been reported here already earlier.

I think in Sweden DC is a lost game since Diners is not well accepted there and then they have superior Amex elite nowadays.

While the Diners brings quite good amount of points for AY plats, that's about it. Would just Amex come in with similar great as in Scandinavia...oh well the party begins

Amex had no cobranded card in Finland this century. The Hilton one used to be 1mk=1HHonours - those were the days. Since then Amex has been steadily getting worse and worse. Nov 2014 was the latest "enhancement"
