Current and historical promotions

This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.

The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Do not delete historical posts.

AA/AY/BA: CPH-LAX-CPH ~350 euros. Min. stay saturday night (spending 3 nights in LA might be necessary due to availability). For instance 8.-11.11. (kind of old promo which wasn't bookable for a while)

I just noticed that AY has new promotion for points upgrade. Now upgrade from economy to business for North Europe countries is only 3500 points and other European destinations is only 5000 points per segment. I don't know for how long this promo is valid but it is good and reasonable way to burn AY points

Check page 8 of this same thread. This "new" promotion has been out for almost a month now.

Btw. Northern Europe is 3750 p per segment, not 3500 p.

It's not the first time they offer such a promotions. It's been going on and off for a few years at least.

Booked tickets to Miami via JFK on this offer even tough it is not advertised. Still 1500€, but compared to over 900€ Y tickets not that bad.. They seemed to have continued the offer until the 18th.

I had no idea about these options - especially cabs. Though it quotes me 35€ for a ride to the airport, while the normal rate is 20-22€. 15€ over the going rate for 500 AY+ points? Not for me, thanks.

Its not quoting a regular cab per-se but its using cabforce service so In Finland not a great deal but perhaps somewhere? :

Last (and only) time I rode it was over 40€ airport to city. Guess that was a rip-off.

It's easily 35-40€ to the center late at night. Whether that's rip-off is another discussion....
