Nordea-issued MCs only earn 1 point per euro. SEB MC is better if you have status (up to 2 points per euro), and while it was available, DC was even better (up to 3 points per euro). Amex Platinum earns 1.5MR per euro which, when exchanged to AY points, only yields 1.2 points per euro so better than Nordea but worse than anyone else.
As for AY+ and collecting bonus miles with a MC branded CC, I would then have to switch my OW FFP and I don't fancy AY that much (and thankfully don't have to travel with them for work as my flights are for leisure), so working up to Platinum for 2 bonus miles per 1 would take a while to accomplish, plus I'd probably need to first reach the level with eligible flights as without status one doesn't get level bonus, so... no, no way am I going to e.g. do a few weeks of Helsinki-Oulu/Rovaniemi or any other cheap domestic return tickets just for status. I know some are ironbuts and do that, but it's just more comfortable to work up status with BAEC.

Nordea Finnair Mastercard
Got a letter today.
Nordea is raising the earnings on their Finnair Plus branded MasterCard. From 15.2.2019 1=2 points.

This seems quite nice. But: if you don't have Nordea bank account, you have to pay 3 for every bill they send you right? And getting a nordea account without any nordea status is far from free. This is the picture I got when I was looking at this but I'm very happy if someone tell I'm wrong.

Happy to see the crappy card become a little less crappy.
The 60 EUR annual fee is pretty steep, still, but I hope the points will offset that.

The Nordea MC is statusless. Same points for every no matter your AY status.
Regarding the 3 bill. I don't know, I get the bill as e-bill, and I do have Nordea account. But would they charge 3 for e-bill to other banks too? For a paper bill they surely charge 3.

As far as I understand, for non-nordea customers there is no e-bill available. So it's 3/month extra or nordea account. And for someone who has his other banking business in another bank (so no nordea loyalty status), the nordea account must be like 5/month?

OT and probably OMNI - I feel so sad about elderly people and such that have to fork out 3 monthly or so for that greedy bank.
I might as well hand Nalle Wahlroos a few euros anytime I see him in the lounge if he is that addicted to money.
end OT.

I do have Nordea account and it is 5€ per month, including online banking 2€ charge. So,anyway I pay 60€ per year for basically nothing. I have Nordea Stockmann Exclusive card, no monthly or yearly fees. Best perk: one hour free parking in Stockmann.

I think you should buy Bjφrn *) a drink if you meet him in the lounge. But didn't he leave the chair of Nordea recently? I am sure he is a very interesting person to chat to in the lounge anyhow.
*) The marxist that turned liberal and was the most influencial person in entire Finnish business life through a huge number of board seats

On-topic: I would hope that Nordea Finnair co-branded card would also become with tiers either with increasing earning or free monthly fee, then there would be no need for SEB card which I can't unfortunately fully trust anymore. And with Nordea there is Apple Pay and e-invoice at least

Im AY plat but living in The Netherlands (Dutch nationality). There is not really ANY way to get the Nordea CC right? Bit frustrating cause I have to use my AMEX green card at 0.8p/euro PLUS yearly 50 fee
