Truly nothing spectacular - it's been a long time since AY has had any interesting fares from Finland

Nothing to write home about. Good thing is you can fly to Tokyo and back from Osaka or Nagoya and vv, no christmas blackouts, you earn 50% of miles, not 25% and connecting flights from Oulu/Tampere and Turku are again reasonably priced. Bad thing is, the fares are not any better than one can have during any sale from Finnair and more than you can get from LH/KLM/AF/CSA if willing to connect.

I am flying to Madrid next week. 179 euros with Lufthansa, 3000 M&M miles and a good flight. I had wish that Finnair would have a better deal to Madrid for me so that I could burn my last AY points on a upgrade, but with almost 100 euros price difference. Nope.

The Japan Y fares are a few euros more expensive than the current "Early bird" OS campaign fares to NRT. For those interested, the same in C can be had for under 2300€.Booking until 16/Oct

(BUD - AY 209€/OS 179€)
