Question about min. age for flying w/o consent letter

Hi,
I'm flying on Finnair and I'm 17 years old. I fly to Spain. Does I need Consent Letter or something?
Or can I fly just for nothing(except for my passport, tickets, luggage and so on)

I know of no official stated age, my kids flew alone on AY since they were 14 or so. At 17 you should be OK.

0-5 can't fly alone
5-11 can fly alone as UM
12-17 can fly alone without UM, though UM is available if needed. (Though I think a 17 year old UM is just ridiculous, seen it though)
18+ Obviously can fly alone, UM not even possible.

This is for Finnair only ofcourse, an other airlines and/or some countries may have additional requirements.
I've never heard of a western airline that would have a problem with 17 year old travelin alone though.

My 16 year old is flying on her own later this month, and I know that she would be greatly offended, if she had to fly as UM.
