3rd night free & suite upgrade on 3rd-party reservation?
Hi All,
Just wanted to see if I could apply a 3rd night free & suite upgrade on a third party reservation (made through a travel agent)? Paid the same rate as the direct Fairmont website Cheers, fw |

Mind you, this is a sample size of 1. |

Really? I mean, I don't have first hand experience on this but a colleague of mine simply got the 3rd night refunded to his CC on a prepaid rate.
Mind you, this is a sample size of 1. If booked via a TA: potentially a mess due to the way pre-paid rates are structured (in particular commission payments which would need to be reversed). I'm not saying it's impossible when booking via a corporate TA or a "regular" TA, but I'd certainly stay clear of trying to do this when booking a pre-paid rate via an OTA. |

If booked directly via Fairmont: yes, absolutely no problem

I used a suite upgrade successfully at Chateau Laurier in 2014 on a booking on hotels.com :) !
