Also, does anyone know if I buy the gc via costco and redeem on the Lifeexperiences website, can I use that for payment if I made a Virtuoso/Amex Fine Hotels booking? I'm assuming no for the Amex Fine Hotels since I will need to pay with an Amex, but what about Virtuoso? Thank you.

Flash sales normally happen on Friday. Last year it was announced November 21st on Facebook and went live on Nov 25th.

One thing to be mindful of, is currency exchange. The hotel is going to charge you in USD and then refund you in USD. If your credit card is based in a different currency, you can expect to lose a bit on the exchange conversion. Most credit cards are going to have a spread of a few points between the buy and sell exchange rate.

I'm pretty sure I did this here without problem a year or so ago. I believe I phoned in advance to see if it was possible.
