FPC Plat Passion Pick 2017

Hey FTers,

I just got my 2017 certificates. Can anyone remind me again how I can choose my passion packages? I usually opt for an additional room and suite upgrades certs. I can't seem to find the page to select these benefits this year.

Thank you.

Top left corner after you log in. Click on MY BENEFITS.

Not live for me yet, but then again, I've been downgraded to Club Member even though I requalified for Platinum status.

I qualified for Platinum on March 23, 2016 so I missed Passion Picks 2016.
Is it given out based on Plat status as of 3/1 or as of 12/31?

Looking forward to my first chance in 2017.
When I look right now it doesn't show anything after...

got them here too !

So which benefits are the most valuable ? I assume it's the 50 USD e-gift card and the $100 USD DINING/WILLOW STREAM SPA E-CERTIFICATE ?

I have almost always gotten the most value out of the Local Dining for Two certificate. And then the $100USD dining/spa

That's what I picked. I am staying at the Fairmonts in Barcelona and Monaco this month so, based on reviews on their use, I plan to use both at Barcelona. I figure I can get more value out of the $100 USD in Barcelona and others reported a great local dining experience there.

Thanks for the reminder - just picked up my 2017 benefits.

While doing so, I saw this: 2016 Holiday Gift - 3rd Night Free
(still from last year).

How does that work? What are T&C?

"Most valuable" options will depend entirely on your stay pattern. If you have lots of stays planned, particularly for many days at a time, you'll almost certainly get more value out of an extra suite upgrade than a $50 gift card. However, if you don't have enough stays planned to make use of the additional upgrade, then it won't be of any value to you at all.

I assume it would be similar to this.

Premier Third Night Complimentary Certificate

Certificates cannot be used prior to March 01 of the issuing year. If permitted by law, Certificates will expire on February 28 or 29of the following year. Certificates are nontransferable. Certificates will be void if listed or advertised for sale or auction on the Internet, in newspapers and magazines, or other similar means. Fairmont reserves the right to remove or deny without notice any Certificate it believes have been resold, transferred or conveyed contrary to this provision or otherwise acquired in error or under questionable means. Certificates may subject Holders to income or other taxes. This benefit is discussed here.
