Qualified early for Plat a few days ago. Called FPC and they told me my status will reflect Plat on March 1, as well as the certificates issued. I was under the impression that it will be immediate. But oh well, what's one more week :D

Was there not a few benefits that Platinum members got to choose? If I remember correctly last year I was able to choose dining certs or some other stuff? Am I mis-remembering? Or did they cut those benefits? I also thought you received a free night after 30 stays, now it seems like it is 40 stays.

I was wondering about benefit selection. I recall last year I selected additional dining certs (100 worth) and also a third suite upgrade cert. It looks like there may not be the option this year...unless the email comes out on the 1st for selection.

I had a look back through my emails and the benefit selection email was sent on 2/27 - I reckon we should get something tomorrow or Monday....

No information has been published yet regarding this year's benefits, but you're correct that Plat members got to choose two additional Platinum Passion benefits last year.

I'm pretty sure Plat members have always only received additional free night certs when crossing the 40/50/60/etc. nights thresholds (but not 30 nights).

That's also my recollection. 30 nights was required just to get Platinum status, and the additional free nights started at 40.

After login, in the profile box, the last line has been changed to 2016 Platinum Membership Kit. Still showing the old 2015 brochure once you click on the link though.

2016 certificates now loaded. No changes vs 2015 for FPC Platinum: 4x$25 Dining/Spa, 1 complimentary stay, 2 Rooms and 2 Suites upgrade certs

They must be doing it in batches, because I don't have any 2016 certs yet in my profile.

My SO has the new certificates. I do not.

Checked my profile this morning and my 2016 certs were there. I immediately called to confirm a suite upgrade for later this month, and the agent was surprised and said that this was the first she's seen of this year's certificates.

As CanadaDH speculated, they may be doing it in stages so that everyone's are loaded by March 1.
