Miles More Award Ticket Reschedule

Hello,
I have an award ticket from LUX to SIN via ZRH with LX in Economy Basic. Due to whatever reason, I want to reschedule the ticket via MUC with LH. In the ticket condition, rebooking cost 150 EUR plus fare difference. But if I call the Miles More Customer Service, is it possible to get free rebooking/reschedule?

Revisiting Tripsy (and AI agents)

We have an old thread, thought we needed some new discussion The folks at tripsy have been cranking away and adding tons of functionality. I have used TripIt for 17 years and have moved on, Tripit looks so stale Tripsy also imports all current and past trips and generates a "Flightly" like dashboard

For starters, I love that a forwarded email automatically becomes an attachment! Tripit didn't and to attach anything, it had to be saved then uploaded.

Last week they added a MCP connection to Claude (I have it working with Poke as well)

Super cool that I can take a pic of a plan and have it added to my itinerary. I can use Claude to plan my trip and add tot he itinerary

I'm on a week trial, but I may just go for lifetime its that good,

Any other apps I should consider? (I have lifetime Flighty)

Just qualified for 2027 SE today. Much earlier than normal thanks to the 40K one-time carryover, some Amex generated SQC and a lot of flying. Still have half the year to go so may finish at 170-180K maybe more.
My big misses compared to the new program - no bunch of PR to start the year and no 100% bonus AE selection.
I have not picked any of my milestone benefits yet as I did not need them as I had enough Eupgs. Will have to pick some PRs and Eupgs soon.

Transfer UR to Spouse

My spouse and I each have Chase Sapphire Reserve Cards. I have 40,000+ points, whihc of which are valued at 1.25 points towards travel. I am thinking of closing my card and transferring the points to her. If I do that, do the points revert to a 1.00 value>

Announcing there is no WiFi�but there is?

This has happened twice recently where at the gate and on board, they announce that there is no wifi onboard and to make sure you send all necessary messages before takeoff, etc.

But then after takeoff, I turn on WiFi and there it is. I�ve been able to purchase or use the free messaging for BAC members. It�s quite strange. I know they�re moving over to Starlink, but I�m sure plenty of people wouldn�t have bothered trying when they could have been using wifi on these flights.

Has anybody else experienced this recently or was it just a strange coincidence?

Suggestion for new AA policy...

If the FA's don't "have time" to serve a pre-departure beverage then hey should not have time to make an annoying three minute long credit card pitch...

LH booked via UA, no upgrade showing as available, LH site showing F cabin, glitch?

Hi LH folks,

I booked LH 459 SFO-MUC on a United 016 ticket in Premium Economy (A fare class). When I goto the Lufthansa site and click Upgrade Now, it's not showing any available upgrade for SFO-MUC. The return leg operated by LX is showing upgrade offers available. Interestingly on the SFO-MUC leg, the upgrade screen is showing First as the cabin. Is this a glitch in the LH system where it's not showing any Upgrade Options as available if the upgrade flow thinks I'm in F, when I'm really in PE? Or is there something else going on? Screenshot attached.

Anyway, Senator Elizabeth Warren was on my flight from BOS to DCA yesterday. She was sitting in coach and escorted to and from the gate. She graciously shook the hands of some of the nearby passengers.

Credit limit increase hassle

About six months ago I received an email saying the limit on my Platinum Deta business card had been increased. I hadn't asked, and no documentation was requested. Yesterday I requested an increase on my personal Plat card, and they wanted the last three months of bank statements. It doesn't make sense that they arbitrarily raised one card, yet question the same increase on another card. Why couldn't they just look at overall charges, high credit score, and perfect payment history?

Is anyone else missing LPs from the March statement on their employee card?

For example:

March 4 2026: Employee card transaction

April 2026: Employee received the LPs for this transaction (delayed per the announcement)
May 2026: Owner (me) still hasn't received the LP match

can I (and should I) wait until seeing the waitlist to request a SWU?

I'm an EP with somewhere around 250-300k 12-month LPs. I often fly LAX <--> JFK and my general goal is to get my return flight (JFK --> LAX) upgraded every time. I have 6 SWUs and don't fly longer routes much (and when I do, would likely be with a family of 5 so don't have much use for the SWUs there).

What I would like to do, for my JFK --> LAX flights is:

periodically check the cash upgrade price and if it's "good" (say $400 or less), jump on that (this happens more often than I would expect, though for my current flights the prices are in the thousands)
watch the # of available seats in business class to see if I might have a good chance at a complimentary upgrade
use an SWU if I don't think I'll get a free upgrade

What's the best way to handle #2 and #3? e.g. for my flight tomorrow, there are currently 6 open seats (though strangely AA won't sell any business class tickets right now - so maybe the seats are sold, but people didn't select seats, which seems unlikely). Can I request an SWU after the waitlist is available (e.g. if I'm 5th on the list for 2 seats)? If I understand correctly, using the SWU means I'd cut in front of all the EPs ahead of me on the list, but if I don't need to burn one, then of course I don't want to.

Is this the right strategy?

Seat Recommendation - Hawaiian Airbus 320 (Premium)

Flying Hawaiian Airlines from CA > Maui on Airbus320 (originally thought it was a neo but I guess not). Any advice on the open seats? 17J 16c 11a are all open.

11 A - my hesitation with 11 is no underset storage and arm rest tabletop.
17J seems good but also not sure how being in the last row of premium is. it also appears there are only two seats ...
16c is emergency row

I found a lot of mixed info online. - sadly its about $500 to upgrade to 1st. not sure what other options there are to upgrade

On the return flight i have 14J, but the entire exit row is open.

120-day status match offer, not targeted

Southwest has always offered status matches on request, but this is the first open offer I can recall. It's similar to what other carriers have offered.

Status on Southwest doesn't give you much more than you get by holding their credit card, but this offer might bring in some customers who are acclimated to the way legacy airlines operate and who are willing to pay Southwest's high prices.

In the old days I would have said that anything that helps Southwest make more money also helps keep my fares down. That may have been wishful thinking back then, but it's definitely incorrect now.

Edit: The list of other airlines eligible for status match includes the ghost of Spirit but excludes the very much alive Frontier.
