Currently I have 110,000 Aero points left over from a Covid cancelled flight. I also have 105,000 Chase Ult Rewards points which can be transferred to Aeroplan.
Given my scenario, is Tap my best option?
Can anyone offer any suggestions (maybe credit card sign up bonuses, etc) on how to add mileage point to my kitty? I imagine I’ll probably have to pay cash for several seats. When & how to do that?

Warning: No journey availableNone of the journeys retrieved are available, please contact an agent at the airport

The site does have our names, seat numbers, etc. I've tried checking in through using the booking reference, ticket number, etc. But the same result.

Is this simply TAP's inelegant way of saying that we must check in at the airport? Or is there something else going on here?

Edited to add: After a very long wait, I reached a TAP customer service agent who told me that the reservation and flight are ok but that we'll need to check in at the airport.

Flying TAP (executive class) next week. When I manage our booking, I see "add seats" as an option for my wife and myself. When I click on that, I don't see that our already-selected seats are linked to us.

I do see that our two seats are the only ones that don't have a gray X (unavailable) or a blue color (available). They're just blank gray/unavailable. Am I correct in assuming that these are our assigned seats, even though the site doesn't make that clear?

I've flow TAP SFO-LIS Executive Class a couple of times before for work, so I have a basic idea of what to expect, but...

1. While we usually like to sit together in the middle, for this flight I'm leaning toward putting us each in an available window seat (odd row, so as to be farther fron the aisle) since we'll mainly just be sleeping and that would seem to possibly afford just a bit more privacy and quiet. Plus that we can view Terceira as we're descending, which could be nice. Make sense?
2. The TAP site indicates a maximum carry-on weight of 10 kg for the main bag and 2kg for the smaller one. I don't recall bags being weighed or it being a problem if a bit over these limits. Am I correct in assuming the weight should not be a problem if we're a few kgs over?
