I’m trying to hit Star Alliance Gold for the first time and want to confirm my math with the experts here.

Currently, I have 24,300 total qualifying miles, but 0 miles earned with Avianca. My status tracker shows I still need 12,000 "Minimum miles with Avianca" to reach Gold.

I’m planning to book a Business Flex flight (YYZ to LIM) with a base fare of $1,994 USD.

My questions:

1. At 10x miles per dollar, will this single trip earn me the 19,940 miles needed to clear that 12,000 Avianca-specific requirement?
   
2. Does my LifeMiles+ subscription help with that specific Avianca-only bucket, or just the general total?
   

I’ve attached screenshots of my current progress and the flight details. I’d appreciate any confirmation so I don’t miss out on Gold!
