Only 1 flight is scheduled for MAD to CPH for these days. I'm confused/what is going on?<br />

A glitch? If yes, I would be tempted to buy a ticket expecting the flight to be cancelled later on and getting a free invol. rebooking for a much more expensive travel date.</div>

It’s clear that I will earn revenue based points on the cost of the upgrade but it’s not clear about the bonus points. <br />

What about upgrading Iberia and crediting to Iberia? Does it matter how you upgrade (for example there’s a bidding option on IB)?</div>

The system does not allow revising the bid any longer. <br />

Does anyone have first hand experience of this? I have an IB issued same day return ticket PMI-MAD-PMI (Comfort so includes &quot;mueve tu vuelo&quot; which was advertised at point of sale on Iberia.com) operated by Iberia Express and am curious as to whether I'll have the option to change for free in the Iberia app rather than going to the desk (which clearly is far less convenient given you'd have to be at the airport to do it). I've read reports of it being possible in the Iberia Express app, but none on mainline...<br />

If no experiences I'll report my own end of next week...<br />

With BA Club you earn Tier Points on the total spend (in GBP) on holidays including the taxes and extras. The main booker also gets bonus Avios as well as everyone earning Avios for the flight.<br />
How would the same booking earn status points if credited to Iberia Club?<br />
My guess is that it would earn just based on the flights and not take into account cars, hotels, experiences, etc, are any bonus Avios awarded?</div>

Went to look this month, and...nothing posted, and all traces of &quot;Plan Santander&quot; have disppeared from my account and the IB profile. Upon logging in to the Santander app this morning, they offered me 10,000 Avios to join (you guessed it) Plan Santander. It seems to be the same program but with a single-use 10% discount and they want 5€/month now. Going back through my mail there has been no communication from them about this. <br />
<br />
I guess I'll take their 10,000 Avios and sign up again. </div>

The Goal:<br />
I need to completely forfeit my active, non-refundable tickets and get a final receipt showing they are voided/refunded ($0.00). I need this specifically to satisfy Chase's travel insurance requirements for a covered medical cancellation.<br />
<br />
The Background:<br />
<br />
Originally booked SFO-BCN-SFO (Flights IB2622 / IB2621) on 075- ticket stock for travel in July 2026.<br />
<br />
The route was canceled in March during a schedule change. I called the Iberia Contact Center, accepted a re-accommodation onto British Airways (BA) operated flights, and was issued a new PNR and new 075- ticket numbers for the July 2026 dates.<br />
<br />
I recently had to voluntarily cancel the new BA itinerary due to a medical emergency. I did this over the phone via the Iberia Contact Center. However, I never received a cancellation confirmation email. The phone agent told me I had to fill out an online web form to request the cancelled ticket receipt.<br />
<br />
I can no longer access the PNR under Iberia's &quot;Manage My Booking.&quot; The BA PNR now throws the error: &quot;Sorry, we are unable to display your booking as there are no flights in the booking. Please contact your local British Airways office or Travel Agent.&quot; This proves the flights are successfully canceled logistically, but the actual 075- tickets are still sitting in &quot;Open&quot; status.<br />
<br />
The Problem:<br />
I cannot leave the tickets as &quot;Open&quot; because my travel insurance will kick back my claim if the tickets still look valid. I need IB to process a voluntary refund to close them out. I know the refund is $0.00; I just need the status changed to Void/Refunded and the official receipt generated.<br />
<br />
What I've Tried:<br />
<br />
IB Customer Relations (Web Form): Submitted a request as instructed by the initial phone agent. They emailed me back instructing me to call the Contact Center to get my cancellation receipt.<br />
<br />
Contact Center (Phone): Called as instructed, but the phone agent refused to process it and told me I had to submit another web form back to Customer Relations.<br />
<br />
WhatsApp Support: Reached out to a live agent but was completely unsuccessful.<br />
<br />
Twitter/X: Currently trying to resolve this via X direct messages and waiting on a response.<br />
<br />
My Questions for the Experts:<br />
<br />
Is there a specific Amadeus command, exact phrase, or waiver code I should be feeding to a front-line phone agent so they know how to process a $0 void/refund on a non-refundable ticket?<br />
<br />
Has anyone successfully navigated this exact IB &quot;Open ticket -&gt; $0 Insurance Receipt&quot; loop before? Any advice on how to get an agent to finalize this is hugely appreciated.<br />
