I have been using this service pretty much since it started but I now feel the infrastructure at Paris Gare Du Nord is longer suitable for the amount of services and people using it..Ticket prices seem to be going north and to be fair the service and value for money is going in the opposite direction…

Anyone aware of any new investment proposals for this station ??

Buy Paris metro/RER tickets on ex-Thalys Eurostar trains?

We booked an itinerary that includes a Paris Nord to Paris de Lyon transfer. Assuming our inbound Eurostar is on time we'll have about 45 min to make the transfer. I've already read several blog posts and watched a couple YouTube videos on how to make the transfer, and I believe we'll be able to make our connecting train, as long as we can buy the Paris metro/RER tickets ahead of time and not waste time at the ticket kiosks. Our Eurostar is the one from Brussels (ex-Thalys) and not the one from London. My understanding is that the London Eurostars sell the Paris metro/RER tickets on-board, but is that the case for the Brussels Eurostar?

I know we can buy tickets using an app, and that is the current plan. However, I understand that each traveler will need a phone with the app, and at least one in our group is younger and will likely not have a phone. Plus it will be a hassle for all of us (we are a group of 10) to deal with setting up the app just for this one transfer. If we can buy the metro/RER tickets on the Eurostar it would be much easier.
