I was promised it would take about a week, but the Qpoints are still not credited and I heard nothing back since then.
This is quite annoying as I was counting on those Qpoints to renew my status. Fortunately there is still a few weeks time, I hope that will be enough.

Any input from other Flyertalkers?

Another remark is that here is an annoying bug in the QR App : it doesn't display a correct list of my account activity, it also doesn't allow me to select a date before the current month in the "From" field in front of the "View statements" button. The same problem occurs in Firefox.
Oddly, I just tried in Chrome, and there it seems to work correctly.

P.S. I got impatient today and requested the missing Qpoints and miles a second time, this time via the request missing miles feature, I hope that won't be a problem.

The name was changed via UK Deed Poll which doesn't involve any type of court enrolment, but QR won't accept this document because it's not stamped by a court.

They won't accept my new passport, bearing my new name, along with my old passport, new and old driving license, and new and old utility bills to prove that my name has indeed changed.

What am I supposed to do here?

My current Privilege Club account doesn't have any status, so I could just delete it and re-register. Is that likely to cause any issues? Is it possible to update the Privilege Club account number on an existing flight booking from my old one to a new one?

We are flying SFO-DOH, landing at 5:25pm, layover of 3:05, then DOH-JNB at 8:30pm. We are flying business (fare basis RJUSP1RE a discounted Business Class "Classic" fare (R-class)) and are wondering about time in the lounge. How much time should I subtract for walking, security, etc.? Based on what I've read here, we should have 1:30-2hr to spend in the lounge if all flights are on time, right? Maybe even take a shower between a 15-hr flight and an 8-hr flight.

Not the end of the world if we have to rush through the airport and miss the lounge; I just wanted to avoid surprises

I want to avoid the "death by a thousand sectors" approach. Instead of flying 10 annual trips or 8 short regional hops for 5–10 points each, I want to find the "Mega-Sector" sweet spots—specifically, how to force a multi-city build that keeps me on high-distance Qatar-operated metal for every segment.

The Strategy I’m attempting:

• The Anchor: Using a Texas/West Coast gateway (DFW/SFO/LAX) for the ~8,000 mile distance band to Doha.
  
• The Extension: Connecting from Doha to high-distance destinations like CPT, SIN, CGK, or AKL.
  
• The Fare: Aiming for Economy Convenience (Value/Comfort) to ensure I’m hitting the 35–50 Qpoint bracket per long-haul leg, rather than the 10-point "Discount" trap I’ve hit on AA/BA before.
  

The Problem: Whenever I try to build these specific high-yield connections in the multi-city tool, the price either balloons to $2,600+ or the engine refuses to "marry" the segments, claiming no availability.

My Questions for the Pros:

1. Which specific Doha-onward destinations currently trigger the best distance-to-Qpoint ratio for a 3nd or 4th sector? (e.g., Is DOH-CMB or DOH-KTM better than a European hop for a US-originating ticket?)
   
2. How are you successfully forcing these into a single booking without the engine breaking? Is there a specific ITA Matrix trick or a way to search by fare bucket (K, M, L, V) to ensure the Qpoint yield is high before I click buy?
   
3. Are there any "hidden" high-yield sectors from the US (beyond the obvious LAX/DFW) that people have discovered recently?
   

I just want to make sure I’m getting 80–100 Qpoints each way rather than a fraction of that.

A380 anywhere it usually does (BKK, LHR, CDG, and it was supposed to start to SIN?). My guess is because of the war and load factors this was halted...?

Anyway for Sept I see a good itinerary but QR is showing the A380 being flow from SIN, it's a good fare and I'm just worried it might get cancelled. I don't mind if in the end the plane switches to a 777 or a350, I'm more curious if they'll cut the schedule and if so does anyone know how far in advance do they usually update their schedules.
I do see the flight number (QR947) being operated now in an A350, but at 1:30 AM. From June I see the flight number at 19:40 PM, still on A350 then by sept it's an a380. I have been trying to get a "Travel Certificate" from Qatar to give to my trip insurance provider in order to get reimbursed for about $285 in nonrefundable deposits. I asked AA, and they said to contact Qatar. I filled out the "get Travel Certificate" form on the Qatar website, but it said "something went wrong." I have written and called Qatar several times, and everyone keeps saying try again later.

Does anyone have a suggestions about how I can get the Travel Certificate? The trip insurer will not pay on the claim without the certificate. Thank you!
