I've got a paid CX ticket in Y spanning 2 legs on a single booking: TPE-HKG (CX flight on CX metal) and HKG-PEN (CX flight number on UO metal).

Question: Will I be eligible for CX lounge access while in transit in HKG?

I asked CX in Chat, was told NO, not eligible and pointed to the lounge eligibility guidelines: Lounge Admittance | Travel Information | Cathay Pacific

I then happened to be on a live phone call w/CX for another trip booking; raised the same question with the live agent, and was told YES, I am eligible.

So, which is it? Yes or No?

(The lounge eligibility guidelines on "Connecting Flights operated by UO" section up top seem quite clear cut -- reading that section by itself would seem to indicate I am NOT eligible for lounge access... but am curious if my CX GO status supercedes that?)

I know that CX offers lots of flights between the two cities. However, suppose I choose a TPE-HKG departure on CX at 12pm and that my JX flight arrives on time, this means that my transit time is 7 hours. My question: it ok to check-in before 9am (3 hours before departure)?

I understand that I must clear immigration/claim luggage to enter landslide at TPE, check-in at CX, and then clear immigration to leave Taiwan.
