I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed, not necessarily because I was expecting it to be a particular superior or interesting lounge, but because I was looking forward to be one of the first to lay eyes on such a new opening (and at my home-base airport too for that matter).

Could I maybe just go to the Non-Schengen area and visit the newly opened SkyTeam lounge at T3 instead?

If not, should I just accept defeat and take the F&B voucher or should I demand a different form of compensation?

Looking at a flight in October - AF 23 from LAX, landing CDG 11:10AM, with a 65 minute connection to AF 1504 to FCO.

I know "if they sell it, that means it's legal", but I'm wondering what the odds of it being successful are.

And, as a follow on, since there are other flights from CDG to FCO on AF later in the day, how accomodating is AF likely to be, provided space is available.

Would be in either PE or J, probably PE, booked with AF directly using an MR transfer. No Skyteam status.

Thanks for thoughts/perspectives - it's been a long while since I've connected at CDG.

Edit to add - AF 1504 is on a 320, not a Ejet, so I assume that means not having to worry about a bus xfer.

Due to exceptional circumstances beyond our control, you can change your flight without paying a change fee. If your new flight costs more, you'll pay the fare difference. To change your flight, please get in touch with the KLM Customer Contact Center. Booked through a travel agency?
What does this mean?
what are the circumstances? Does this mean they are cancelling
Does EU261 apply?
what are exceptional circumstances 2 days ahead? Weather doesn’t seem to be an issue
thanks

I'll be flying RUN-CDG soon and I really like the fish (seabass) option available on this flight. At the same time, I'm very worried about ciguatoxin poisoning that can occur from fish caught around the island (and may cause symptoms for years to come in the worst case scenario). The game plan is that I'm gonna avoid eating fish on Reunion (and Mauritius) but I'm wondering whether I should be worried about what's served on the plane as well.

Normally I trust that the food served on a plane goes through rigorous testing and is among the safest stuff you can order, but my research suggests that ciguatoxin can't be easily tested for (costs a lot and is still unreliable). Should I assume that whatever is served is imported from "safe areas" (be it mainland France or whatever other location), or would it be better to go for a steak?

I understand I won't get a definitive answer here but I'm curious about your opinions, especially if you're familiar with who food chains work in that area.

Folks,

My wife and I have recently flown with AF in Business Class and had a terrible flight. It was very hot (without any cover) and we found ourselves feeling quite uncomfortable. Not managing to sleep on a 1 AM flight on a TATL route is not conducive to feeling well on the flight and over the following few days..

It sounds funny but the issue was perhaps made worse by the staff closing everyone's 'door' and with the seat being so low when in the lie flat position possible means you have little air circulation which when coupled with a high cabin temperature can make you feel quite awful.

The only other airline I find overheats the cabin on europe-bound flights (to get everyone to sleep and ask for less TLC...) in biz class is Aer Lingus.

Grateful for anyone's thoughts / experience
