I flew today with our toddler twins. Upon boarding, FA gives the kids the cute activity packs and instructs them (more or less) to have mommy and daddy hold onto it until they are seated.

I find it odd in this day on such LGBTQ embracing airlines for an employee to still make such assumptions.

He meant no harm. It just puts me in that space of “having to explain things.”

For those who think that coming out is one turning point in life - it isn’t. We have to make decisions every day. “Do I correct the assumption or just let it be?”
