What travel blogs do you read?

I'm not a very organized traveler for sure. I'd like to sign up for some travel blogs. I only read this one now, but they don't have good filter options, so it takes a while to find something useful.

I also don't like forums, as many people don't give straight-forward answers, so it takes forever to find something that really works.

Maybe there are some good Youtube channels or personal blogs you can recommend?

Good question. I have a hard time finding good travel blogs too. And, like you, I'm not organized, so I lose track of them easily. Information & blogs are so fragmented all over the place. I wish there was a site that consolidates good travelogs.

Here are a few that I happened to bookmark:

Quetzal's Tail ? Photos, stories, travels. Sometimes all three.

Have you tried reading up FT's very own External Miles and Points Resources Forum, where blog-related threads reside?

External Miles and Points Resources
Discuss other miles and points resources that can complement the FlyerTalk experience. This includes blogs, websites, seminars, and events and excursions for frequent flyers.

Is there no thread for Doctor of Credit? I get it's not as travel or points focused as all the other blogs but it's still pretty relevant here, no?

I guess it depends whether the OP is looking for general travel blogs (trip reports, location information, hotels, activities, tours, etc) or those focused more on travel loyalty programs (miles/points earning and using). When I hear "travel blog" I think more of the former, but that's not to say it's the only connotation. Some travel blogs don't touch on points and miles; many points & miles blogs don't get too much into general travel; others mix it up with some of both - to varying degrees.

I've found that those travel blogs that focus on certain regions or areas often have more good info for detailed planning while those with a wider scope are great for inspiration and general ideas, but that's just me. I'm not at my regular bookmarks at the moment, but a few travel (vice points & miles) sites off the top of my head:

More "photo essay" style than narrative but I really enjoy his postings:
https://everything-everywhere.com

Part blog, part forum, part misc style - for parts of Asia:
https://www.travelfish.org

Excellent for Scotland travel:
https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/

His travel style isn't exactly the same as mine, and I didn't find any need for the booking companies included on the site, but still found this useful for Greece:
https://www.greecetravel.com

Others - general, etc:

https://www.concreteandkitsch.com
