Looks like the Long-promised third-tier alliance’s megado will happen in 2018. So far just an email list signup: https://skyteam.megado.com/

It is a combined US / Europe trip I believe with events on both continents, albeit with the option of just doing one leg.
I have done two MegaDos and they are good events if you like the sound of the individual components. Full credit to the organisers because it isn't easy.

Postponed... Sheesh, do I have to do all the "housekeeping" around here? :-)

The owner/operators/minions of the MegaDo/FTU franchise are no longer associated with the MP/IF complex and have not appeared/posted there since 4-6 months....@:-)

Looks like October with booking opening up this week. This the best place for a discussion or is it going on somewhere else that I couldn’t seem to find? I really want to go but I’m sad only a few hours in Prague and I’m trying to figure out return (USA) bound options that fit with their negotiated rate. Would like angle flat at least.

As compared to early MegaDos, not particularly interesting or appealing. And the benefits are substantially less (I remember when Hyatt Diamond status was a MegaDo benefit. It kept me hooked on Hyatt for several years).

Looks pretty good. Kind of off-brands, but no luggage factory tours either.
Interesting they are offering a few perks for booking business class too. The value prop is hard to justify on an intra-euro 737 otherwise.

Agreed. Biz seems silly since if I understand correctly they are the same seats just with middle seat blocked and upfront? Maybe a little recline. Kinda hard to tell but they seem to be convertible seats between “coach” and “business.” What will determine my attendance is a reasonable return flight from EU to USA in Biz or F and hopefully a friend or two commit to going as well.
