Miles-Related Travel Web Series

I just released a miles-related web series called Rich Travel / Poor Travel. It features me using points to travel to a city in first class like a rich man, then exploring that city on a budget like a poor man. If you wanna check it out, here are descriptions of the episodes and links to their YouTube pages. Thanks!

Trailer

Episode 1: Hello Kitty & Tokyo
I fly the Eva Air Hello Kitty plane to Tokyo, then use Pokemon Go to explore the city and investigate Japan's obsession with "cute" characters.

Episode 2: Dubai Without Leaving the Air Conditioning
I fly in the Etihad Apartments, where I shower in the sky. When I land, I explore Dubai without ever leaving the air conditioning, including going to the top of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and Ski Dubai, an indoor ski slope in the desert.

Episode 3: Gluttony & Copenhagen
I fly Turkish Airlines Business Class. Because of their reputation for amazing food, I keep track of how many calories I eat. When I land in Copenhagen (one of the healthiest cities in Europe), I try to burn off all those calories while exploring the city.

This appears to be a good fit for the FT External Miles Forum which is where Blogs are discussed.
Please follow there.
Thanks...

So what is the motivation to post such video blogs... (besides pure altruism) does youtube generate that much ad revenue?

To establish a brand, perhaps, and then cash in as The Shameless Flyer?

It looks to me as though you'd need a LOT of views to make it worthwhile as a standalone project:

There is ad revenue, but you have to get into the hundreds of thousands to see any real returns. While I certainly hope that happens, it's not my real motivation. I work in the television industry, so I view it more as a resume builder and sample of my work that can help me get future jobs.

LOL - I have this discussion with my wife repeatedly, where I note that we're flying only business class and she argues that if there is no further forward class available on the flight, then it is [the] first class (see some of my TRs for examples - VA, BR, old US Envoy [no TR], OS, LO, QR [routes w/o first, like on the 787], VS [no TR...yet], DL [no TR ...yet], etc.) and she reminds me that all of those international business classes are waaaay better than domestic "first" class; so, what does it matter what name the airline labels the class? she asks.

I'm still on your side of the debate, though.
