Agreed - the increased access to Tel Aviv by plane will be great. One small piece of the larger deal, of course.

Looking less conspiratorial by the day, eh?

The conspiracy theory was that the virus was invented in the lab and part of a bioweapons research program.

With regard to the following words on the Dansdeals site in Q2 2020, “Conspiracy theorists have long said that the virus was engineered in Wuhan”, the virus naturally existed in bats — and perhaps some other mammals too — before this pandemic.

Ladies & Gentlemen, dear Kids,
feel free to discuss the virus origin theories here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/omni-pr-652/

Thank you

Does Dansdeals.com try to mask information about using credit card referrals for the referring party and the referred account applicant to both get points from card sign-up-related activity?

I posted a few times about how the Chase Sapphire Preferred card with the 100k point bonus is available with referring parties getting 20k points for successful applications. All of those posts have ended up buried in a moderation queue — and/or slower than usual moderation queue — somehow.

I think so.

There are clearly several plays that are off-limits over there and I think this is one. This directly impacts the revenue generated by the site as otherwise the site could get a big referral commission for the new card sign-up.

The other big no-no seems to be the whole concept of cash-back portals. Dan would obviously prefer that you use his affiliate links rather than your own cash-back portal links when shopping.

Didn’t know there was an issue with trying to discuss the cash-back portals angle there. I will have to try to keep my eye on the restrictions on discussions about cash-back/rebate-currency portals.

I understand the financial self-interest angle, but it seems quite petty to try to limit consumers from getting useful information that serves the consumers’ best interest.

Not much of a deal for consumers when stifling useful information for consumers.

He’s read this thread, and so I’m curious if he’s revised course about censorship on dansdeals.com in the weeks since. Has Dansdeals.com changed course on this yet?

Randy surely has some data, but extrapolation isn't easy and there's no way he would know anything more than ballpark figures unless bloggers share their numbers with him. Cards can pay anywhere from $10 to hundreds of dollars. Conversions are run hot or cold based on the whims of the bank, the quality of the applicants, etc. Sites that target newbies that don't have their own referral links and aren't hindered by signup bonus restrictions or approval frequency throttling restrictions convert at different rates that for sites that target knowledgeable users. Etc, etc.

Also, anyone can see ballpark traffic figures with sites like SimilarWeb, though affiliate revenue extrapolation from that isn't worth anything due to the reasons above.

How much revenue does bank card applications generate for Dansdeals.com? I am sure you know that better than Randy Petersen.

I know DansDeals was a bit particular about posters referring to using friend and family card referral links for bank card applications instead of the links on Dansdeals. Does OMAAT have the same kind of approach to referring to using friend and family bank card referral links?

As I'd say to anyone asking about my job and salary. I put in long hours and it pays the bills.
But by all means, feel free to speculate. I just find it funny, as I would speculating about what anyone makes, free of any actual data.

If you find blog comment sections full of referral links, odds are that they're OK hosting that.
