Goodbye Point Princess

It seems the Point Princess blog is being retired and its author is moving in a new direction with a different site:

http://pointprincess.boardingarea.co...oint-princess/

I am very excited to announce that even though Point Princess is retiring, I will be continuing to blog at carolinelupini.com! I will still be frequently writing about travel, occasionally writing about points and miles, and will throw in other topics as I feel like it.

Never read her much if at all, but I am unable to find that blog post online. Must not have been up for long.

When I click on the link in the OP, it seems to go to a valid url address, but the page is blank.

Who is the Point Princess? I never heard of that blog.

Try this:
http://www.carolinelupini.com/

Looks like it goes blank due to the redirect.

She's a bit like Lucky was a few years back; a wide-eyed student frequent traveler.

Difference is, she TRAVELS. She focuses on both the getting there but also the being there. I've enjoyed following her adventures both on her blog and on the face book.

And apparently hit the burnout point recently.

The OPs link is doing some redirect to http://www.carolinelupini.com/2015/0...oint-princess/

Web archive reveals more:

- her blog was on F2B in 2013: https://web.archive.org/web/20130607.../pointprincess

- moved to BArea/P2B in Summer 2014: https://web.archive.org/web/20140805...rdingarea.com/

Now it all moved to http://www.carolinelupini.com/

I've enjoyed reading Caroline's writing but felt like the Point Princess brand didn't fit her style very well, she wrote more maturely than that. Looking forward to her new blog and wish her nothing but massive success.

technically Lucky travels. infact we all travel, everyday! whether its a 5 min walk or a 1 hr work commute - point A to point B iS traveling.

I think the word you're looking for is EXPLORES. because someone like Lucky could fly to BKK, stay there for 5 days but not really leave the hotel much. and that's still traveling, considered a trip, even a vacation (staycation)

Not that it matters, but generally this is accepted to mean staying home and exploring from there, not just staying in a hotel in a different city.

To me a staycation is hotel sex with my wife in our home city. Obviously, YMMV. :)

Hopefully she'll raise the quality level there a bit.

Lucky you. For me a staycation means a huge 'honey do!' list :p
