We have a dedicated forum for discussion of blogs and other external mile and point resources, so this thread will be moved over to its more applicable home there.

I cannot call this creepy for the following reasons:
1. Knowing thepointsoflife was alerted electronically due to the wonders of technology.
2. thepointsoflife was called an idiot, wanted to put in his 2 cents.
3. Most importantly, there is no evidence to support the claim thepointsoflife is a werewolf or vampire.

Depending on where he was posting from, he could have been posting after sunset.
And based on the moon phases calendar, it's a waxing moon that will be visible after sunset.
I'm awaiting more data before I come down on this one way or another.

The companion pass will get you the last available coach seat (roundtrip) on the plane for $121.
Depending on the circumstances, that same seat can cost you 40k points.
So depending on the circumstances, the pass is like buying 40k points for $121.
Except, of course, you get points when you use the pass. Number would vary based on the length of flight. But let's call it 2k additional points.
So my math, the pass is roughly equivalent to buying 42k points for $121.
If I got it wrong, my apologies. Was trying to crank this out before the dog went too crazy.
