Ink is awesome!
Over the 21 day window the latest Ink 70k promo was offered the top 6 blogs covering the "deal" wrote about it
Can you name which blogger had which frequency count?? :p |
I think this is a great question and I'm personally glad we are seeing some statistics on the subject.
20+ times is absolutely shameful. That blog should be placed on the IGNORE list of all frequent flyers. I hate to guess VFTW as Gary does so many quality posts, but it seems like he's blogging credit card links 24x7. I have no idea how he does this with a full time job. 13 times: OMAAT. 6+ is probably MMS. His volume seems to have dropped off. Perhaps he is working on new templates for a huge binge in Q4. |
Wrong on all three guesses. :-:

Trick question! Actually Wandering Aramean had 50 posts on the Ink Plus--all disguised as regular posts! ;)
Seriously, though, if you follow MMS at all, not surprising that he's a likely candidate for number one since his MO is to break down each card with topics such as, How to Use the Chase Ink Plus points to Fly on United (BA, Southwest) or Stay at (IHG, Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton) or Take a Cruise or Amtrak or Pocket the Money as well as several posts telling you the deal was going to end on October 10 (erroneously, of course, and then several more posts just to inform you the deal was "extended") and a post or two about what are the five best deals right now. I didn't count them all, but since second place is 13, and I got past 13 with MMS, I'm going with MMS, that's my final answer, Regis. I'd like to do more, but I really have to do some work today! |

What annoys me (as I've said before in this forum) is that here we have yet another BUSINESS card that's being marketed to consumers.
Also, 70,000 points is good though surely not earth-shattering to the point of needing all those breathless posts. Now, 100,000 miles/points that I could use to fly AA? That's earth-shattering, and thank you Citi and Amex! |
my guess on the 13 would either be VFTW or FTG.... but i'd lean toward VFTW

(The click bait title got me there -- I foolishly thought he might have decided to discuss affiliate links... Silly me.)

How else can MMS afford to give out that nice swag at the conferences?
But seriously, I don't care...I rarely read the blogs anymore and don't go to BA much. I just watch on twitter and can click when I want...Not that hard... If someone can make tons of money on links, God Bless America. I wish I could... |

You'd know if you'd stumbled across Mr Wandering's comment on one of Mr Gary's posts today. ;)

The 9, 8, 8 & 6 rankings are still up for grabs. :p |

I'll take TPG for 6. The relative restraint surprised me a little -- although I suspect (haven't checked) that he might win the consolation prize for having the earliest "ENDING SOON".

(If I'm wrong again I'll let someone else have a try as it's obviously too tough for me.) |
What is FTG for 9 and OMAT for 6, Alex?
