A thread to talk about random VFTW stuff.
 

VFTW is one of the few blogs that I still read on a semi-regular basis (along with Wandering Aramean). Here is a thread to talk about random stuff from that blog.

Starting with this:

There are some things I love about this blog and some things I hate.

But, far and away, my favorite thing are the bathroom pajama selfies, and I was inspired to start this thread after seeing this today:

Koko, with all respect to you, this and the OMAAT thread you started strikes me as gossipy and mean-spirited. What's the motivation for this and how does it benefit FlyerTalk and its members?

I love Gary & I love Koko - but these pictures are pretty awesome. I don't see how this doesn't benefit the community.

From what I can tell from Mr. Google, TPG's selfie is from April 2012 while VFTW's first selfie is from December 2012.

Oh well. Whoever invented the airplane bathroom PJ selfie, I still say VFTW does it best!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Kids,
The reason our forum Ambassador opened a new thread was a behind the scenes discussion between the two of us. Posts about VFTW and OMMAT blog entries had taken over a few threads in the EM&PR forum and we were looking to split them off to keep those threads on topic. I'm a little busy with my day job (that feeds my family), so I did the barebones moderation, and will clean up the remaining personal comment in the remaining week.

Well that is neither a selfie nor in the bathroom! And all it does is reinforce the sterotype that only blogger wear airline PJs on airplanes!!! :D

So when do these become viral internet memes?

I have seen other bloggers have fun with one of VFTW's pajama selfies. Probably won't be the last one we see...
