As for past events, I am working with AA, DL and UA to setup discounted airfares for those attending Chicago Seminars 2014. Will take me a couple of weeks to get everything arranged -- details will be provided to Rick, Howie et al for posting.
While I anticipate that the discounts will be modest, the savings should help cover at least a portion of your adult beverage consumption

I actually don't know if that is true. The Chicago Seminars have been publicized on several blogs and still took a while to sell out as opposed to the west coast DO that sold out in under an hour. True, it was hosting about 22% as many people but it was not even mentioned here and it sold out proportionately faster than the Chicago event. Not bashing either event, just pointing out that people are going to find an event if they have a desire to go to it no matter where it is located in a forum. After all, everyone can link to it.
If this seminar continues next year, can someone at least by this year's seminar, start a thread in whatever the correct forum is, to which we can subscribe, and then get updates as soon as the dates/details are determined?
Alternatively, can participants from the previous year receive an email upon open registration?
