Angry comments on blogs [split off from 'Which blogs censor' thread]
 

Yes I think most the "Angry's" character does speak for themselves. One of their group recently emailed me to, and I quote:

I do find it amusing that you and ingy LOVE the term "angry". last i checked no one here was angry. I don't get angry when the DP blog misleads readers in order to pad their pockets, i just roll my eyes (and feel kinda bad for those duped). now if you REALLY want to see angry, read some of the comments in the TBB blog by a certain blogger. wow, thats the real angry man.

Methinks the one's who "proudly censor" are as angry as one can get:rolleyes:

But of course, those who have no compunction about misleading/ripping off their readers for the sake of a few dollars, probably have their moral compass out of kilter in the first place?

on a side note, i often wonder how narcissistic bloggers can be who think that EVERYONE should love them - and if they don't love them, then they must be "Angry" :confused:

I am in a smoky cafe in a small town in Greece and just checking in here after a week....and the comment above almost made me spill my overpriced fancy coffee I paid 3 euros for so I can use the wifi.

On another note, I am never angry and loyal TBB readers sure aren't either :D

@ Gpapadop I like the new direction of your blog. And frankly, you gave enough warnings over your year of blogging, that they don't need to be repeated over and over again. Your blog is a good source of information in the industry with some unique stuff mixed in.

I know we all strive to do our best, but perhaps better/clearer/accurate blog content would mean more satisfied 'readers' who send you compliments rather than angry notes? @:-)

Readership continues to just about double each year and the good to bad comments and emails is 50 to 1.

But, there are some very crazy people out there. Are you saying your condone a threat / implication of violence like this?

Honestly, it's things like your last sentence, that fan the flames as much as any commentors. There isn't anything in the post you quoted that would drive a question like that!

There are of course flames of laughter too. Those seem to come from folks on Virginia Avenue when they read stuff on DeltaPoints. (They also scratch their heads wondering how stuff can be so unfactual.)

It's funny you keep repeating the same personal attack but I know very many inside Delta and the facts are not what you have dreamed up.

I'm not to be trusted, because I happen to start a sentence with some tough love for you, with the word "honestly"? That's one of the more bizarre personal attacks I've heard lately. I'm afraid I don't fully understand your run-on second sentence.
