Oh, and he's still pushing the affiliate US Airways link, which, IMO, is the best current indicator of an honest blog versus a link-pusher blog. Some don't even mention the better non-affiliate offer (MV), while the really devious ones (FTG) mention both the affiliate and non-affiliate, but disguise it to imply that they're the same offer and then point the "Apply Now!" button to the affiliate link (readers won't mind parting with $89, right?).

I thought he was pushing Frontier, this week,
He does do a good job of breaking things down, and giving some good points,
I have been doing this for 30 years, and pick a few ideas up every time I visit, and I do not have time to play every song... any idea is great...

Is MatthewLAX's blog the only credit-card-free one at this stage?

(This was the Hong Kong match, where you could get any Star Alliance card you wanted. You needed to take 1 flight, but booking the German train ticket - and obviously not travelling - still worked, despite all the disclaimers on the M&M website that it didn't!)
And last year I made 1.1 MILLION Avios in 3 months from a UK-issued credit card, which foolishly offered 25 miles per Ł1 for foreign transactions.
And, as long as you actually live in the UK, the big Avios changes in November 2011 actually made the program a whole lot better and a whole lot cheaper (although those fuel surcharges still hurt).
Compared to 10 years ago, the hotel schemes are also much improved - at least to the extent that they have 'last room availability', which means you can actually get the room when you want it. The points per night may have gone up as well, but the usability of those points has never been better.

He had one post that had a link to the CSP and it caused an outrage, even though it was a pretty unique post about how the card helped in a bind. Didn't see the problem. He still remains a blog I read every post.

Which is the blogger who is always posting pics of his mother (I assume?) holding up credit cards and vanilla reload cards with every post? I never saw a point to that.
