Yeah, he's one among several who deletes all critical comments, civil or otherwise. He's censored me several times.

If we get a new forum for points and miles blogs, we can start a thread listing which blogs censor and exactly what they censored! ^

It's dumb to censor- even negative comments are engaging and promote interaction and connections with the reader. Blatant use of bad language I would censor, but negativity I'd leave up there and even if I don't learn from it and adjust its valid dialogue.

Though in fairness most of the negative commentary relates to affiliate links- which I think are a valid part of a blog

There is zero reason to censor a comment pointing out to readers that a better CC offer exists than the one the blogger is shilling (that just happens to be a non-affiliate offer), and I would do the same if the better offer were an affiliate link. A comment of that sort actually adds value to readers of the blog, and the only reason to censor such comments is greed. Yet, unfortunately, this type of censorship is not uncommon among several of today's bloggers.

After nearly every blogger posted some idiotic April Fools post today I'm about ready to dump them all. What a ridiculous waste of time (for them and their readers).

Some of them were just stupid. Others were just enticing enough to be cruel.

NONE were the least bit amusing.

OMG, and this:

Even if your bill is higher than 10,000, the way you could take advantage of this is by using Vanilla Reloads to get to the $10,000 mark and then sending in a check by mail
is terrible, terrible advice!!!!

My wife and I pay estimated quarterly taxes in excess of $20k per quarter using a couple MVDs.

There is no reason to EVER send a check to the IRS!

I probably have missed a back story, but what's the fascination with NK? I have seen it in the blog a few times

And if certain readers don't like what they are reading they can either-

- Discuss the argument using facts
- Not read the thread

Simple, isn't it?
you could also not read the blogs...

also - if bloggers get free things for reviews, they *must* disclose that it's a sponsored review. http://diannej.com/blog/2012/05/new-...onsored-posts/

so, if someone doesn't disclose in a review (ie the club carlson) that they got "2 free nights" then they didn't get them. If they did, then they're simply breaking the rules and probably won't be around for much longer.

Oh, I don't read the bad blogs. But that doesn't mean when said bad blog comes out with dreck that exemplifies said bad quality, it can't be discussed.
