I've been sent on secondment to Kitimat to work for the Rio Tinto smelter located 10 minutes away from the hotel. 

Kitimat is a small town and looking around, the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kitimat is definitely the newest hotel there.

The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are super friendly.

They are located close to town and Rosario's a decent restaurant is just next door.

They have an early international breakfast to accomodate the local contractors. The food is decent. 

They offer one night a month a customer's appreciation night where they would have dinner provided (such as perogies and pop). They also sometimes bake some cookies which they offer to their guests.

Ask the front desk for free passes.
