Can not select Bulkhead
 

Hi I'm new here so I have a question. Me and my wife are going to the Philippines. Through Eva air. And on the long haul flights we're trying to get the middle bulkhead seats. But they are not available to select.. If now, in most cases, you would just figure OK well, maybe. Someone got those seats already. so, what I did was I tried different dates even dates that are really far out. And again, every other seat on the plane is available except for those 3 seats. Am I missing something here? Or are these not available for Selection until certain time. These seats are really important because we have a baby. And sitting on the exit row is not available option for us. As it's not legal. For a baby To sit there. Appreciate your answers. Thank you for your time.

you need to call EVA and get your baby added to your ticket. then you will be assigned a bassinet seat which is usually a bulkhead seat.

Yes you have to call EVA and tell them about the baby and they will allocate you the bulkhead if it is available. Also which class is this?

Economy class. And I email eva air waiting on the reply
Never was an issue before. We could just buy the seats.

Sometimes members who have status could book them or another baby has already been booked. Actually try to call them on the phone if you can.

I tried booking a different rates and classes too.

Could mean someone else has booked if in a different class. I have booked the bulkhead on PE many a times. `Best is to give them a call.
