Very pleased with my meals. BR 17 SFO to TPE. Lobster was small but tasty and enough for a midnight flight. Fish was excellent and breakfast was really good.

Very nice Champagne!

My experience is that when in doubt, prioritize with Asian over western, seafood over poultry, and lamb over beef.

For refreshing meal, my sister enjoyed the noodle soup with fried pork spare ribs. I had the spinach and chicken sausage quiche, it was not bad.

Is the menu from TPE to KUL/SIN the same as BKK or is it more extensive given the longer flight time.

I'm getting an error while attempting to select meals on my award flight booked through AC. Tried calling SFO local office and they went to "We're sorry we're busy" and auto-hangup. Is there a better way to contact EVA to make meal selections?

Call the taipei main office (+886-2-25011999) during their business hours (I think about 9 hours ahead of Pacific Time) You may have to wait but at least eventually someone will pick up.

I use google voice and it has never been an issue, and if you have call latency, explain to them and they'll be understanding. It cost me 2c per minute which is very affordable.

I actually prefer to call Taipei main customer service anyways as the attitude is night and day compared to the north american offices.

BR 51 IAH-TPE in a couple weeks.

Anyone ever had the lobster with cheese sauce? was wondering if it is going to be a substantial tail of lobster or merely bits of it. Torn between that and the lamb shank.... and the veal cheek..... and the crispy duck lol. Just cant make up my mind

We were on this flight back on April 3. It appears the menu has not changed. Duck was disappointing. Not crispy. I got the pho bc my tummy was a bit upset so soupy noodles were easiest for me to eat. I did get a glance of the lobster and it looked pretty good. But only got a glance. I think it's was a whole tail, but don't hold me to it.
