The taro crispy duck? I've had it a few times on TPE-CGK back in the days and really liked it. It was actually crispy! Not sure if it is the same version though.

Those were the ones I was leaning towards. I'll make my partner pick one and I'll take the other.

Kids meal options

First long haul biz flight with kids (7and 11). I think they would both eat the chicken but curious if anyone has experience with kids meals on EVA? Leaning toward lobster for myself but very open to suggestions

  • Omelette with Tomato and Mozzarella Served with Veal Sausage and Sauteed Mushroom (467kcal)
  • Bread and Butter Pudding (489kcal)

TPE-HKG (BR867) early April
Light Meal
  • Roasted Chicken with Orange Sauce and Egg Fried Rice(Golden Quality Award Chishang Organic Rice) (570kcal)
  • Pan Fried Sea Bass with Garlic Flavoured Creamy Clam Sauce and Buttered Potatoes (400kcal)
Thinking of going for the Lobster with Ginger and Scallion Sauce as main on MXP-TPE. Might go for the bread and butter pudding for breakfast.

On TPE-HKG, I quite like sea bass. However, I am not a fan of creamy sauces with fish and I also assume that Eva will do Asian dishes better than Western ones, so thinking of going for the chicken instead.

I ended up ordering the Lamb and my partner is getting the stir fried chicken and braised miso cod. I won't be able to speak for the lobster but I'll let you know how the Lamb is before your flight.

Second leg BKK-LHR
Amuse Bouche: Duck Foie Gras with Tamarind and Grilled Scallop

And last but not least...final meal before landing at LHR is breakfast for some reason despite the 730pm-ish arrival.

If it is the same as in the regular Din Tai Fung restaurant, braised beef noodle soup is good. That is if you are wanting Chinese food/noodles.

too bad my upcoming TPE-YYZ does not offer it, or I would order it.
