LHR-BKK seat selection in economy - rows 68+

LHR-BKK seat selection in economy - rows 68+
Hey. Does anyone know when seat selection for the rearmost rows on LHR-BKK (and BKK-LHR) opens up?
It appears that seats in rows 68-73 are all blocked - including the more prized seats in 70+ with only two seats either side of the cabin. I read somewhere they're blocked for crew rest but that makes no sense to me - why would they block 48 seats?
