Possible to redeem miles for someone else from my account?

Title says it all. Can I use miles from my account to redeem an award or upgrade for someone else (a family member with the same last name, if that matters) I'm not traveling with? Or must I go through the extremely slow and complicated process to add them as a transfer nominee, and then transfer the miles to their account for redemption?

Thanks in advance!

No.

If redeeming miles for him/her and only him/her, you'll need to transfer miles to his/her account.
If redeeming miles for yourself and him/her on the same itinerary, you can redeem from own account.

Before you can redeem an award ticket for someone else, you need to fill out an "Online Service form", send it to one of their local customer service locations, then you add whoever you want as a "Nominee" to your account. Finally, you have to transfer miles from your account to his or her account, once both of you have enough points, you can then search and redeem award tickets on your account.

is there a special email address to send in the form? I sent it via fax and via email to [email protected] about a week ago but no reply and online services are not activated.

Per a suggestion in an older thread, I sent it to ffpr at evaair dot com, and it was processed within a day or two.

Hi, been trying to fill up the online services form but it's not clear to me

Can I get some help with filling up the online services form to attach my wifes account to mine?

Applicant name : My name.

member number : wifes account # | name : wifes name

Is this the right entries ?

Do I need to resubmit for my kids accounts ?

thanks

The online service form is let EVA enable you to add nominee online.
Name is your name and acct # is your account number.
Once EVA processes it, then you can add your wife as nominee online.

Just to confirm, if another person doesn't have miles owner w miles needs to go through nomination process to transfer the miles to the said person in order for him to book the ticket from his account
they don't care if they are "family"

Bumping this - any idea what "signature of deputy" means? Asking as there is the mention of the applicant age 2 to 12 above, so I'm not sure if it's to be signed by a 'witness' or if I leave it blank except in certain circumstances (e.g. if I was applying for a child).

This seems to be incorrect. I am trying to redeem an award for myself and my daughter.
I have sufficient miles to cover both tickets. My daughter's account has 0 miles.
The site just won't let me book the tickets.

The ticket costs 17.5k each, 35k total
