But the Polaris Lounge closes at 10:30pm (as does the lesser United Club in the international terminal), which leaves about an hour's gap between lounge closure and boarding time for BR27. In addition, embarrassingly and unacceptably, many of the Polaris Lounge's amenities (sit-down dining and showers) start closing 1-2 hours before posted time, and staff have been known to start kicking pax out around 10pm.

I believe this was true when they used to have the afternoon flight which departed out of A gates. Otherwise the midnight flights (BR17/27) depart out of the G gates and use the Polaris lounge.

I used to stay in the Polaris lounge until boarding time but that was before the pandemic...
Haven't been back since.

Thanks - so it sounds like I can't count on the Polaris for food unless I get there really early (and the check in desk is open). At least I know what to plan for.

The check-in desk will be open early enough. I used to always check-in early to make it to the Polaris sit down dining before it closed.

Either the website hasn't been updated, or the first few hours could be exclusive to BR, hence the unchanged official opening time of 1330.
I recall the BA lounge in SEA being closed to everyone but BR pax after the last BA flight departs, even eligible OW pax, but this was a while ago.

The check-in counter gave me a $30 Napa Farm voucher last month on flight BR27 departing SFO 1:20am. Napa Farm
closes at midnight IIRC. Food and drink items but no alcohol berages!
