Amenity Kit Dimensions

Does anyone happen to have the dimensions of the current J amenity kits? LxWxH and that jazz?

Trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on a Bellroy Tech Pouch or just suffer until I can get it all in an Amenity kit

It is that old Rimowa size one but it is not Rimowa and I forgot the name. The Italian sounding one.

Salvatore Ferragamo
Comes as a hard case inside a black cloth bag with drawstring sealed by a paper sleeve
Dimensions of case approx 7" x 4" x 2.5"

Source: measured one I took home from a TPE-SEA flight 1 Feb 2023.

Hope that helps.

Would TPE-CGK count as a long-haul route i.e. will I get an amenity kit if I fly this route in J?

No, anything in Asia is not long haul.

There's a different kit for the return flight - believe it was soft pouch only, no hard case.

Sorry, didn't get a chance to get to this one for a few days.
Thanks, everyone for the great responses! Likely going to be the Ferragamo (it's LAX-TPE) so now I can make an executive decision whether I want to get the Bellroy tech pouch as well, or if this will be ok (bag space is a factor)

Just to clarify, both amenity kits are Ferragamo but the packaging and fragrance (or whatever its called) are different. For TPE inbound flights, I think you get a soft bag instead of a hard case. The soft bags are much easier for stuffing in your carry-on, if that's what you're wondering.

Did you end up getting the hard case or the pouch? I thought historically they gave the hard case on routes out of TPE while inbound flights got the soft pouch?

We actually aren't flying until July. Yeah, I'm a bit early on this.
But I have been putting together stuff for this for like a year at this point. Still on the fence about the Bellroy but we'll be doing LAX-TPE-BKK-LHR so I figure we'll get a chance for all the various kits

My recent experience confirms this.

Flew SEA-TPE in late Feb 23 and yes we got the soft one.

TPE-SEA (flew a few weeks earlier) was the hard one.

Excellent, I've got a TPE to CDG redeye coming up in about a month and I'm looking forward to getting the hard case. I find them to be aesthetically pleasing and also practical for reuse, so I'm sort of collecting hard cases lol (JAL F Zero Halliburton, ANA F Globe-trotter, EVA J Ferregamo, and UA J Away are what I have / will have soon)
