Flight Disappeared

Booked BR7 (travel 04/09/23, SFO TPE), on 19 Nov 22. For the past week, this flight number/this date has not been available for sale on evaair.com nor GF, even though it is still listed as operating on the Timetables page of website. Anyone have this experience before? Tried--in vain, of course--to call. Suggestions?

Per flightaware.com EVA hasnt flown BR7 since March 2022. Perhaps they had the flight in placeholder schedules and then removed it? Looking at GF I see two EVA flights on 4/9/23 - BR17 @ 12:05am and BR27 @ 12:20am.

Why do they schedule two 77Ws 15-mins apart instead of one midnight flight and one daytime flight?

i find that annoying at lax since they put the 2 planes right next to each other most of the time and ppl mix the 2 planes a lot.
but in theory, all US flights arrive into tpe at 5am and then everyone who needs to transfer to outbound planes can do so with a shorter transfer window.
you can see the the congo line on flightradar24... haha

Before COVID, EVA had three SFO-TPE flights a day. One left around 1pm. Two left past midnight. Many US-TPE flights arrive in TPE at 4:30am-6am. It is good for making connection to Southeastern Asia and even to Japan/China.

As for confusion to have two EVA aircrafts boarding next to each other sometimes, I am not sure why it is a problem. Isn't passenger's responsibility to find out the correct gate? Go to G gates in SFO to see how many United flights leaving from there?

BR7 can't be booked on April 9. Perhaps EVA does not see the strong demands back for daytime flight before summer. This week is CNY holiday. I would wait until next week. EVA should send a flight schedule change email if there is a cancellation.

Because most EVA flights are banked. These two flights will arrive in time for the morning connections.

its a little different... i dont think ive seen it happen with United though. its like having 2 United going to the same destination boarding next to each other with 15 mins difference in STD with very similar #, BR17 and BR27. ppl can easily get confused too with all the linings and zones. sometimes BR17 gets held up because pax lines up for BR27, goes to board to find they are on the wrong flight.

This happened to me last year. Flight disappeared on Google Flights. Reached out to both EVA and ANA (booked through ANA), and neither could see that the flight was canceled. Told to sit tight. Lo and behold, I get an email from ANA a few weeks later informing me that the flights been canceled. I would say Google Flights is accurate.

It hasn't been cancelled yet but they've completely zeroed out all inventory, which is usually a sign that it will be cancelled.

BR 7 SFO 1:00p → TPE 5:30p
