Skip leg on one flight?
Hi all, question:
Am travelling BR from JFK-TPE-HKG. Is it possible for me to either shortcheck my bags from JFK-TPE and miss the connection, or even check my bags to HKG and just miss the last connection. The intention is to book an award ticket in a higher class on CX metal.

Re short check to TPE, that’s a matter for the BR board
If you check bags to HKG and you don’t board the TPE leg, you will inconvenience pax as they will take your bags off if you don’t board.
