Eva Air Reduces Fuel (YQ) Surcharge
Effective 2/15 (ticketing date), short-haul flights will have their YQ reduced to USD15 (was 23), and long haul flights will have their YQ reduced to USD39 (was 45).
Effective 2/19, HKG flights will have their YQ reduced to USD15 as well.
In the second half of 2018, oil accounted for 35.52% of operating costs. BR's operating cost for 2H18 was NT55 billion, and fuel cost NT19 billion.
EVA Airways is always evaluating current fuel situations and promises to adjust YQ according to market specifications.
