Br 35/36 jfk-anc-tpe
Does anyone know when BR terminated 3 time weekly flights from JFK back in 1990? This was operating alternately with BR31/32.
I know BR36 to JFK was launched 5/17/1995. But I can’t remember when the flights was terminated.
I was on BR35 flying out of JFK when TWA 800 crashed that evening (I was parked very close to TWA800 having taken TWA from DCA into JFK that afternoon).
My outbound was delayed for 2 hours as inbound was delayed due to TWA crash. But I can’t seem to find when the route was terminated back to EWR only.

https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%95...88%AA%E9%BB%9E says it stopped in 1996 so it was really short lived. I remember it was MD-11.
I was actually with some BR people that morning and they told me about the TW800 crash.

BR only had 3 passenger MD-11 and are used in Asia and Oceania.

Somehow I remembered MD-11 but it makes more sense if it was the 74M (and CI used MD11 for JFK for sure - they had that engine blade problem and a friend of mine got stuck in ANC). I think BR did use the MD-11 for SEA when they moved 31/32 to stop at ANC.
I still have their old timetable somewhere but am too busy to look.
